OTC sunscreens aren't individually 'approved.' This product meets U.S. FDA OTC sunscreen standards: made in an FDA-registered facility, listed with the FDAas an OTC drug product, with SPF 50 and Broad Spectrum substantiated under FDA testing protocols.​

It's irritation-tested and includes 2% panthenol andcentella. It contains a light fragrance, so patch-test if you're fragrance-sensitive, and keep it out of theeyes.

It is Hawaii Act 104 compliant - formulated without oxybenzone and octinoxate. We do not call any chemical sunscreen "reef safe."

For most skin, no — 2% panthenol andcentellahydrate as it protects, so it replaces the morning moisture step. Very dry skin can use Hydro Booster Gel first.
